NPCI, VISA, PhonePe, and EMVC Talk Payments Developments at the 2020 Global Fintech Festival

To bring together global leaders in the financial world, to discuss the road ahead and collaborate in ways to do business in the post-pandemic world, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Fintech Convergence Council (FCC) and Payments Council of India (PCI) organized the first edition of India’s Global Fintech Fest (GFF) on 22 - 23 July 2020 with the Internet and Mobile Association of India.

EMVC Managing Partner Melissa Frakman participated in a leadership dialogue with Arvind Ronta - Head of Products, India and South Asia, VISA; Tamal Bandyopadhyay - Consulting Editor, Business Standard; Praveena Rai - Chief Operating Officer, National Payments Corporation of India; Rahul Chari - Co-founder and CTO, PhonePe. The group discussed product development built on top of India’s national payment rails and upcoming trends.
